My mother and I have been doing ancestry research for quite a while, Our journey began because she wanted to know more about her ancestors, We started and stopped a couple of times as the work was tedious, so we began anew. Our research resulted in four huge family ancestry books saved in beautiful photo albums as family keepsakes, Inside the reams of pages are endless documents, census records, draft cards with signatures, Birth and death certificates, marriage licenses and more. Now its time to move onto the next phase of our family history…recording our family stories. I scheduled the first interview with mom in October 2023. Well sadly, she passed in October 2023.
